SpaceX CEO Elon Musk recently said that he could afford to buy Twitter. However, he has a fortune of over $300 billion. Musk said that his main goal for the company is to make the platform better for users.
It was on Thursday when Chris Anderson was in Vancouver for the TED conference. In a TED Talk, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that he is seriously thinking about changing how the platform handles content that isn’t popular.
He wants to do this by not promoting certain Tweets and by adding the ability to edit Tweets and a history of how they were changed. Under his leadership, Twitter will also be a place where people can speak freely, but also respect the laws of different countries.
It takes some pretty impressive mental gymnastics to associate any type of “freedom” with the richest man in the world initiating a hostile takeover and forcing one of the largest public social media platforms private.

There are spam and scam bots and bot armies on Twitter that Musk wants to get rid of. He added this: “They make the product much worse,” A Dogecoin for every crypto scam that I saw would make us have 100 billion Dogecoins.
In a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Musk said he would buy Twitter’s stock if the company agreed to let him. In this case, it doesn’t include the 9% that he already owns.
I am often asked if I will “return to cryptocurrency” or begin regularly sharing my thoughts on the topic again. My answer is a wholehearted “no”, but to avoid repeating myself I figure it might be worthwhile briefly explaining why here…

He said he would buy the shares for $54.20 each. The shares were worth about $45.08. A month ago, the shares rose 30%.
People aren’t sure how they feel about Musk owning Twitter. It was seen as a smart business move by Musk. He might not be a good fit for the company because he has been immature and controversial on the platform. Others don’t seem to agree with this.
