The information site Discord Previews said on September 9 that an interface has been made public that lets Discord users connect to multiple services, such as Solana (SOL) wallet and Bloxlink, and get “linked roles” for each. I said so. Discord hasn’t told anyone about it yet.
Different roles with different names are often used for different channels in Discord. After the server’s authentication is done, the unique role is shown. This time, it looks like the page will get “apps” like Solana, Bloxlink, and JEFIT. It will be linked to the wallet account in Solana.
“Verified Roles” have been renamed to “Linked Roles”, and are likely to launch very soon. Similar as to with the App Directory, Discord has chosen to partner with a few third-party launch partners:

Bloxlink is the biggest Roblox bot service on Discord. It lets you connect your Roblox account to your Discord account. Also, JEFIT is a fitness app, and if you connect it to the official Discord server, your training log will show up in your role.
Discord is used not only in gamer and programmer communities but also in Web3 communities like virtual currency and NFT. Last week, Discord’s official Twitter account gave hints that it would add a way for its users to make money. It’s not clear if it has to do with virtual currency, but people in the area seem to be getting more excited about it.
